On July 8, 2011 Rodman Properties acquired its 3rd and largest project-based Section 8 community in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Hazleton Gardens marks the company’s continuing success in acquiring and managing affordable communities in suburban locations of Pennsylvania. The community, comprised of 236 units, consists of 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom apartments. Hazleton Gardens is the only garden-style project-based community in the surrounding area, and has earned a very positive reputation among lower income residents and families as a clean, safe and well-maintained property. In fact, the demand for an apartment at Hazleton Gardens is so high, prospective residents may have to wait up to 3 years to move in. To improve the property even more, we will replace all of the windows and roofs before the end of the year.
