Leasing Consultants are responsible for the marketing and leasing of apartments at their assigned community(ies) in accordance with RP Management’s leasing policies and procedures. In addition, leasing consultants perform all assigned administrative duties required to effectively operate the leasing office. Strong customer service skills play an integral part in the success of this position.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming leasing area for residents and prospects; |

Inspecting models and apartments for appropriate “show” condition every morning; |

Greeting all walk-ins in a friendly and professional manner; |
| • |
Showing and leasing apartments in accordance with RP Management’s leasing policies; |
| • |
Diligently screening and processing all applications for Community Manager’s review and approval; |
| • |
Tracking all prospect referrals, walk-ins, and phone inquiries; |
| • |
Preparing leases, welcome packets, and move-in inspections in a timely manner; |
| • |
Maintaining constant awareness of the competition and market conditions that affect the leasing of the apartments; |

Maintaining strict adherence to the Landlord-Tenant codes, Fair Housing laws, and other ordinances affecting the industry as a whole; |

Assisting the Community Manager in the coordination of leasing events such as open houses and resident functions; |
| • |
Assisting the Community Manager with various administrative tasks associated with corporate reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; and |
| • |
Maintaining a work order completion system to ensure resident satisfaction. |
